How is GPA calculated?
Each grade is turned into points (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, and so on), multiplied by the class credits, added up and divided by the total credits.
Do plus and minus grades count?
Yes, on the standard scale: A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3 and so on. Some schools use slightly different values, so check your school policy.
